ON HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR
The purpose of this pamphlet is to dispel myths and promote understanding about the nature of homosexuality. No one is born homosexual. There is no scientific data to substantiate a genetic or biological basis for same-sex attractions. Homosexuality is not an identity. It is a behavior. Therefore, anyone can choose to change and become straight. The notion of "born gay" and "cannot change" has no factual basis. It was concocted of unsubstantiated "science" and perpetuated by political activists as a most successful means of soliciting public support. Further, the term "homosexual" is not a noun. It is an adjective. Rather than referring to someone, it describes an individual’s thoughts, feelings, desires, and behavior.
Misdirected Compassion
What alcoholic, drug addict, or inveterate gambler wouldn’t ask for another drink, fix, or stake in the name of compassion? With "homosexual" behavior, the consequences of the addiction are worse. It is like a moth drawn to fire. The behavior is horribly self-destructive, often ending in AIDS (see details on back). To garner public support, the "homosexual movement" would have us believe that the compassionate thing to do is to affirm and even celebrate this addiction. This could be called any number of things, but certainly not compassion. Just as with alcoholism, drug addiction, compulsive gambling, or any other consuming addiction, the only compassionate course of action is to help the individual rid themselves of it.
The mental health profession sold out !
Homosexuality was removed by American Psychiatric Association (APA) as a mental disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) III in 1973 following militant threats against members of the executive board.2. Since then, many of the findings and decisions made by the Association have been based on politics, not on science. Take for instance their recent DSM declaration that pedophilia is normal. According to it, it is only when a pedophile feels guilty about the desire to have sex with a child that it is a psychological disorder. 3 Since becoming a pawn of the homosexual movement in 1973, the APA has lost its objectivity, and hence, its credibility.
Dispelling the 5 foundations/myths of the homosexual movement:
Genetics - The only scientific studies that link homosexuality and genetics have been performed by homosexuals who biased their conclusions to satisfy their agenda. None have been replicated. Think about it just from what you know about biology. "Sex" between homosexuals does not produce children. How then does a homosexual pass on their gene? No matter how many members of the same sex one place on a deserted island, there will be no second generation! The book, My Genes Made Me Do It by Neil and Briar Whitehead does a thorough and authoritative job of dispelling this myth.
Successful Transformation - If "born that way", how is it that psychologists have been successful in transforming so many homosexuals into happily married heterosexuals? Many professional therapists continue to treat homosexually oriented people who recognize their condition and have obtained excellent results. Masters & Johnson reported a 71.6% success rate after a 6-year follow up. Mayerson & Lief experienced a 47% success rate with a follow-up after 4 years. Gerard van den Aardveg documents a 65% success rate 4.
2. Victims of Discrimination
If anything, homosexuals have preference. A 1991 July issue of the Wall Street Journal reported the following statistics: The average annual household income of a gay man was $55,430, national average
$32,144. 59.6% of gays are college graduates, 18%
the national average. 49% of gay men hold professional/ managerial positions, 15.9% the national average. As to behavior, anyone has a right to disapprove of anyone else's behavior. Picking one's nose is a behavior many people find disgusting. Many people, either personally or religiously, find the idea of homosexual sexual activity even more offensive. That is their constitutional right.
3. Discrimination causes suicide
The homosexual community blames the high homosexual suicide rate on discrimination. This is hardly the case. Suicidal tendencies, drug addiction, alcoholism, depression, pedophilia, physical violence, and the abnormal craving to be accepted are generally all symptoms of the same core psychological disorder.
4. 10% Distortion
The common source for this erroneous conclusion is the 1948 report published by Alfred Kinsey. Kinsey was a masochistic bisexual who hired pedophiles to support his studies. 5 Just as with later homosexual genetic researchers, the preordained conclusion determined how the study would be conducted. Using a highly biased sample, Kinsey concluded that 4% of men and 2-3% of women were exclusively omosexual for their entire lives. 6The 10% statistic came from his conclusions that 10% of white American males and 5% of white American females were "more or less" exclusively homosexual for at least three years of their lives between the ages of 16 and 65. 7 To be a valid study, it would have to use a representative sample of the U.S. population. Did his? 25% of the 5,300 individuals Kinsey studied were prison inmates confined to a same-sex environment .8 Several hundred male prostitutes were added for measure. 9 Anyone who even volunteered to participate in such an intimate study at that time was fringe population to begin with. Though this bias was brought to his attention, Kinsey published the study anyway. 10 To the contrary, the 1984 -1987 Foreman study concluded that 1.7 % of men engaged in same-sex intercourse.
A subsequent 1989 University of Chicago Study concluded that "less than 1% exclusively homosexual." 11
5. No one chooses to be homosexual
Homosexuality is a behavior born of brokenness. Homosexual behavior is always a psychological defense for pain. It is a developmental disorder brought about by one or more of the following: (1) a need for same-sex parent’s love, (2) a need for gender identity, and (3) a fear of intimacy with someone of the opposite sex. Contributing factors for same-sex attractions include: wounding by same-sex parent, wounding by opposite-sex parent, wounding by peers, and sexual abuse. Homosexual desires develop over a period of time due to familial, environmental, and social conditioning. What was learned can be unlearned. Anyone can choose to change as no one is born this way. Opposites attract. Like polarities repel. If a man is attracted to another man, he is seeking in the other what is lacking within himself. When he joins with someone of the same sex, he feels, at least momentarily, whole and complete. The problem is, it never lasts as sex cannot heal his deeper wounds or fulfill his unmet needs of the past.
How does their behavior affect themselves and society?
Active homosexuals place themselves, their partners and the wider public at great medical risk. Many of the behaviors that characterize homosexual sexual relationships are inherently injurious and prone to disease, especially AIDS. Beyond the medical risks, the psychological dynamics that drive homosexual desire are themselves destructive to the emotional and relational well being of those involved. The movement to legitimize homosexuality as a normal lifestyle is socially dangerous, as it presents inherently dangerous and destructive behavior as a socially acceptable option to be tried by those who, as a natural state in their normal maturation process, are confused and struggling with their sexual identity.
Health
Keep in mind that while "homosexuals" make up only 1-3% of the population: 12
* The average lifetime of a gay is 42, a lesbian 49 13
* 67% of all AIDS cases in the U.S are the direct result of homosexual activity 14
* More than 70% of "homosexuals" reported having or having had a sexually transmitted disease 15
* Homosexual youth are 23 times more likely to contract a STD than heterosexuals 16
* Over 50% of the nation's syphilis cases are the result of homosexual behavior 17
* Over 50% of the nation's gonorrhea cases are the result of homosexual behavior 18
* 90% of "homosexuals" have chronic or recurring herpes virus 19
* 50% of "homosexuals" suffer from the 'gay bowel syndrome' 20
* 80% of "homosexuals" admit to participating in oral-anal activities in which a medically significant level of feces is ingested 21
* The inward expansion of the rectum during anal intercourse frequently tears the rectal lining 22
* 25% of the "homosexuals" acknowledge they have an emotional disorder 23
* A lesbian is 3 times more likely to get breast cancer than a heterosexual woman 24
Behavior
* 20% - 40% of "homosexuals" have sexually molested children *25
* A "homosexual" is 17 times more likely to molest a child 26
* 90% of "homosexuals" have engaged in rectal intercourse 27
* The average "homosexual" will have sex with 110 partners annually 28
* Of the 110, he will have anal intercourse with 68 of them. 29
* 22% to 37% of "homosexuals" indulge in painful or violent sex 30
* 96% of the AIDS cases are spread through "homosexuals", bisexuals, and drug-users 31
* 70% of "homosexuals" estimate that 50% of their partners are one night stands 32
* "Homosexuals" experience a much higher degree of self-destructive behavior, including alcohol, drug abuse, and emotional and physical violence 33
* 25% - 33% of "homosexuals" are alcoholic 34
* 50% of "homosexuals" regret their habits 35
* 50% of "homosexuals" would be upset if their child became homosexual 36
* 75% of "homosexuals" would counsel a young person against pursuing the homosexual life 37
* 47% of "homosexuals" attempting suicide gave the most frequent reason ' disagreement with lover' 38
* "Homosexuals" are 15 times more inclined to murder than heterosexuals 39

"Homosexuals" can stop the suffering
There is hope and healing for anyone who experiences same-sex attractions. To truly rid themselves of the pain and break free from their addiction, a homosexual male or female needs to:
1. Discover the root causes of his or her same-sex attractions;
2. Heal the wounds of the past
3. Establish healthy, healing, non-sexual relationships with members of the same sex.
Through this process, they can come into the fullness of their own gender identity and enjoy their natural heterosexual destiny.

The best and probably fairest book to evaluate the homosexual behavioral lifestyle, ever written is "Straight & Narrow? " by Thomas E. Schimdt in 1995. Mr. Schimdt referred to statistics in the medical community by authors who were either neutral or positive in their assessment of homosexual behavior, and when numbers differed, the lower ones were used. His findings and conclusion are taking from chapter 6, "The Price of Love.'"
Doctors who work with homosexual men are now trained to regularly look for at least 15 to 45 common afflictions ( microorganisms) apart from HIV/AIDS. In San Francisco, easily recognized as the most "gay"" affirming community in America, one look at a large house with a group of ten randomly selected homosexual men in their mid-thirties, would produce the following demographics:
* 4 of the 10 men are currently in relationships,
but only 1 of the 4 is faithful to his partner, and he will not be within
a year.
* 4 have never had any relationship last more
than a year, and only 1 has had a relationship that lasted more than 3
years. 6 are having sex regularly with strangers, and the group averages
almost 2 partners per person per month.
* 3 of them occasionally take part in orgies.
* 1 is a sadomasochist,
* 1 prefers boys to men!
* 3 of the men are currently alcoholics,
* 5 have a history of alcohol abuse,
* 4 have a history of drug abuse.
* 3 currently smoke cigarettes,
* 5 regularly use at least one illegal drug,
and
* 3 have seriously contemplated suicide, and
* 2 attempted suicide.
* 8 have a history of sexually transmitted
diseases,
* 8 currently carry infectious pathogens and
* 3 currently suffer from digestive or urinary
ailments caused by these pathogens.
* At least 3 are HIV- positive
* 1 has AIDS.
Some may argue that the studies cited are not representative of homosexuality
as they observe it or have experienced it, to which I can only appeal to
the evidence: nearly 200 sources, multiple sources at key points covering
different geographic areas, different times, and samples both clinical
and nonclinical, random and recruited. In conclusion, true love is
demonstrated by assisting homosexuals in placing this destructive lifestyle
behind them whereas the same cannot be said of those who affirm the homosexual
lifestyle. - The truth will set you free!
